He knew more about animals when he was 7 then I'll ever know. I was out of ideas for Christmas this year but then I ran across the praying mantis kit. You should have seen the look on his face! He loved it. What an entirely unusual gift...I would never have been into it (too creepy!), but for Shane (my nephew), it was perfect. We loved that it came with a magnifying glass so he can see what's going on inside as the mantis grows. Thanks a lot. My nephew is crazy about animals / insects.
